Research in the field of cutting ceramic composite materials. The fields of activity range from basic research to applied research.
The project content particularly addresses the machining of ceramic composite materials with geometrically defined and undefined cutting edges. In addition to the operational processing, the tasks also include the coordination of further research tasks, communication with project partners and the presentation of results at milestone and final meetings as well as at international conferences.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, production technology or related studies
willingness to do scientific work in a dedicated team
very good command of spoken and written German and English
in-depth knowledge in manufacturing technology as well as in test planning and execution is necessary
experience in the field of CNC-machining with ultrasonic assistance, regarding cutting of composite materials and in the field of machine learning is desirable
