Work­ing field:

The chair is teach­ing build­ing design in the MA and BA course of stud­ies in archi­tec­ture. The focus of the chair in teach­ing and research is centered around archi­tec­tural space; its form, typo­logy, mater­i­al­ity and con­struc­tion. For this pro­file the chair is look­ing for one research assist­ants for teach­ing and research from Octo­ber 2020 onwards. The tasks of the pos­i­tion include respons­ib­il­ity for the organ­iz­a­tion of the chair and the coordin­a­tion of the team.


  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in archi­tec­ture
  • Sev­eral years of exper­i­ence in design and plan­ning and/or teach­ing and/or research
  • Excel­lent design skills
  • Very good com­mand of writ­ten and spoken Eng­lish; suf­fi­cient lan­guage pro­fi­ciency to teach classes in both Ger­man and Eng­lish is expec­ted
  • Abil­ity to work in a team and didactic abil­ity
  • Archi­tec­tural design-rel­ev­ant com­puter skills (CAD, graph­ics etc.)
