Research Associate / PhD Position / Postdoc Position

In the Department of Psychology, Institute of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience, there are several positions to be filled as of 1st of October 2017 for initially 3 years (prolongation possible). The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG).
Depending on the current qualifications of the applicants, the positions entail 50% of the fulltime weekly hours for PhDs and/or 100% of the fulltime weekly hours for postdocs. The positions aim at obtaining further academic qualification (e.g. PhD, habilitation thesis).
The newly established Chair investigates the neural bases of (1) socio-affective and -cognitive processes, (2) their alterations in psychopathology and (3) plasticity through psychothera-peutic intervention.
As one of Germany’s excellence universities, the TU Dresden offers outstanding research infrastructure with the Neuroimaging Centre (3 Tesla MRI, MRI-compatible 64-chanal EEG- and peripheral physiology-systems, TMS, Multicomputer-Lab for behavioral assessments), the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Longitudinal Studies and the Outpatient Clinic.
