Research Assistant - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)

part-time employment may be possible

Your responsibilities:

Research in the area of geometry processing, with the goal of obtaining a PhD Teaching in all courses of the Chair of Computer Graphics

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Computer Science or Mathematics, alternatively in related disciplines with an appropriate specialization
  • Teaching experience
  • Well versed in several programming languages, including C++, Matlab, Python
  • Good knowlegde in documented work (e.g. seminars, projects, B.Sc.or M.Sc. thesis) in the field of Computer Graphics
  • Strong background in relevant math (linear algebra, scientific computing, Geometry)
  • The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
  • Team player desirable
  • good communication skills desirable

  • analytic thinking desirable
  • interest in academic work desirable
