GVI offers award-winning conservation programs at research stations abroad, enabling students to gain hands-on experience in the conservation and sustainability sector.

We deliver our own programs and partner with a wide network of local and international NGOs, government agencies, and academic institutions. Our collaborators have included respected organisations such as, WWF, PADI, Project AWARE, and the national park authorities of South Africa, Costa Rica, Seychelles, Mexico, and Thailand.

With programs on five continents, students can contribute to a range of local conservation projects, varying from 1 to 24 weeks.

Our programs include in-person and virtual internships, research fellowships and apprenticeships, focused on getting students into conservation careers.

With over 25 years of experience and 35,000 participants – GVI is the leader in impact-driven programs.

Tasks:

Eligibility: TU Dresden students with a keen interest in conservation.
Start date: Flexible program durations of between 2-24 weeks, with weekly start dates throughout the year.

Overview:
GVI, an organisation that offers marine and wildlife conservation programs in some of the world’s most biodiverse habitats, is exclusively inviting TU Dresden students to apply for a conservation grant.

You could qualify for a GVI Grant of up to €12,000 toward a GVI marine or wildlife conservation program of your choice. This would cover up to 80% of your program fees, which include your accommodation, food, training and activities on programs from 2 -24 weeks.

GVI offers marine and wildlife conservation internships, research fellowships and professional apprenticeships in locations like South Africa, Fiji, Costa Rica, Madagascar, Greece, Mexico, Thailand, Seychelles and beyond.

These programs focus on a host of critical conservation initiatives, from restoring seagrass meadows in Mexico, to working with big cats in South Africa, or vulnerable loggerhead turtles in Greece and much more.
