Your responsibility:

Within the framework of the third-party funded project "Messzelle2" a device developed by the department and used in the project "ReProvAP" for determining the separation efficiency of structured packings is to be further developed. The aim of the project is to further develop the measurement cell so that different packings can be compared and to reduce the workload necessary for conversion.

The following specific tasks are to be addressed:

  • further development of the measurement cell
  • design of a sealing concept
  • development of interchangeable modules
  • measurement campaigns to validate the results with outcomes from the predecessor project

Your profile:

  • a succeessfully completed academic university degree (Master, Diploma, or equivalent) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology in Mechanical Engineering, etc. is required
  • good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
  • very good knowledge in the design and operation of process engineering plants
  • very good knowledge of thermal process engineering, especially distillation
  • good knowledge of analytics, especially gas chromatography
  • experience in explosion protection (is desirable)
  • experience in programming process control Systems (is desirable)
  • experience in programming PCS7 (is desirable)
  • independent, well-organized working style (is desirable)
