Your responsibility:

Within third-party-funded research projects, novel assembly techniques and microsystem solutions for processing organic and glass substrates are to be developed.

The tasks of the TU Berlin focus in particular on the development of coating processes of organic and glass substrates with polymers and metals for the production of circuit carriers and the implementation of the necessary assembly and connection technology, as well as analysis and evaluation of the developed process technology.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in electrical engineering / physics / chemistry / materials science or similar.
  • Knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas
    a) Methods and materials for micros systems technology
    b) Methods for wet-chemical fabrication of micro structures
    c) Photolithographic processes for printed circuit boards
    d) Knowledge and experience in electronics packaging and interconnect technologies
  • Good German and/or English skills required; willingness to acquire any missing language skills
  • Knowledge in methods, processes and materials for the production of printed circuit boards desirable
  • Structured and independent way of working desirable
  • Willingness to take responsibility for subtasks desirable
  • Ability to work in a team, willingness to document desirable
