About us:

The Chair of Entrepreneurship at Technische Universität Berlin is seeking a dedicated Research Associate to support research, teaching, and third-party funded projects, with a particular focus on sustainable behavior, environmental awareness, behavioral economics, and social and ecological transformation.

Your responsibility:

  • Coordination of the Master’s program M.Sc. Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (IMES)
  • Organization and content development of teaching in the field of Sustainable Entrepreneurship
  • Participation in research projects on sustainable behavior, environmental awareness, behavioral economics, and social and ecological transformation
  • Independent research in the above-mentioned areas
  • Support in acquiring third-party funding for research and teaching projects

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in social sciences or economics with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (Diploma, Master, or equivalent)
  • Experience in teaching and/or conducting workshops
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel to partner universities of the IMES Master’s program
  • Strong interest in Entrepreneurship and innovative teaching formats advantageous
  • Initial research experience, preferably demonstrated through publications on sustainable behavior, behavioral economics, environmental awareness, or societal transformation desirable
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for intercultural collaboration advantageous
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a structured approach advantageous
  • Experience in working with international universities or organizations advantageous
  • Knowledge of third-party funding and grant management advantageous
