under the reserve that funds are granted
As part of a real-world laboratory, drone deliveries in urban areas are to be tested in two pilot projects in a Berlin neighborhood. Six partners are working on this project to develop safe, fast, and environmentally friendly drone services and validate sustainable business models based on newly acquired data. At the chair of aircraft construction and aerostructures, you will engineer, implement, and provide technical support for a micro-depot, a kind of “packing station with delivery and pickup of packages by drones,” taking into account the requirements and needs of users and project partners. The tasks include the conception, design, and construction of mechatronic systems, project management, and the selection and coordination of suppliers and the institute's workshop.
