Within a third-party funded research project, the TU Berlin will develop optically functionalized Glass Packages.
The work at TU Berlin focuses on the development of Spacer-Wafers made of Glass. For this, the glasses will be structured through combining first fs-laser writing and later etching using a novel salt bath mixturh. The project thus spans the topics of optics and material science. This makes the project simultaneously challenging and interesting scientific work.
