Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:
under the reserve thats funds are granted
part-time employment may be possible
Participation in an externally funded research project on success factors of "deep-tech" transfer initiatives from universities. The project investigates transfer initiatives during the early stages of idea and initiative, focusing on particularly innovative technologies from university research. Key aspects include the dynamics of uncertainty perception by involved actors, derived measures, and critical conditions, including support measures that are crucial for success. The project predominantly follows an empirical research methodology, supports initiatives at a dedicated transfer center with a focus on green chemistry within the Berlin University Alliance, and integrates a design approach for specific innovative support services. The analysis centrally includes the degree of innovation and sustainability, also considering the effects of integrating the initiatives into greenCHEM as a regional innovation ecosystem.
The project team includes the postdoctoral position and two fully funded doctoral positions. Close cooperation with the staff at the chemistry-specific transfer center and the greenCHEM project team within the Berlin University Alliance, which provides concrete support services for high-tech transfer initiatives, is expected. Integration of the project work into a larger international project involving researchers from DTU – Danish Technical University and UTS – University of Technology Sydney is in preparation.
