Research Assistant - 0.6667 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification phase (for doctorate)

Working field:

Contribution to teaching in practical coursework and research in above research laboratory in the field of Biological Chemistry with a focus on drug discovery using methods of organic synthesis bioanalytics and peptide synthesis, and if experimentally required protein biochemistry and enzymatics; responsibility for the design and conductance of exercises and practical coursework (teaching duties); experimental supervision of Bachelor and Master students; active contribution to the self-organization of the research team.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university studies (Master, Diploma or equivalent) in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or life sciences
  • Experience in labwork
  • The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
