Research Associate (PostDoc) - salary grade 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 2nd qualification phase (for habilitation)
Part-time employment may be possible; subject to the position becoming vacant
Working field:
Teaching (4 hours per week) and research in Theoretical Physics in the field of Quantum Non
Equilibrium Dynamics at our institute. Participation in the third-party funded projects of the work group Eckardt. Assisting the group leader in supervising final theses (Bachelor, Master, PhD).

Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, diplom or equivalent) and successfully
completed PhD in physics or a related field - Very good knowledge in theoretical physics
- Very good knowledge in Quantum Non-Equilibrium Dynamics, in particular in the field of open quantum systems
- Experience in the numerical simulation of open quantum systems and in the development of efficient numerical methods
- The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
Desirable:
- High level of commitment and ability to work independently,
- Good didactical skills are advantageous.
