Research Associate / PhD Student

The position is starting as soon as possible. The position entails 75% of the fulltime weekly hours and is limited for 3 years. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz – WissZeitVG. The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (e.g. PhD).

university degree in physics; in-depth knowledge in theoretical physics; experience in the model-based theory of condensed matter; proficiency in German or English; ability and motivation for doing outstanding research both independently and in collaborations, in particular within the Cluster of Excellence Complexity and Topology in Quantum Matter (ct.qmat).
