Tech­ni­sche Uni­ver­si­tät Dres­den - Faculty of Che­mi­stry and Food Che­mi­stry, Chair of Theo­re­ti­cal Che­mi­stry

Die TU Dres­den ist eine der elf Exzel­len­z­u­ni­ver­sitä­ten Deut­sch­lands. Als Voll­u­ni­ver­sität mit brei­tem Fächer­spek­trum zählt sie zu den for­schungs­s­tärks­ten Hoch­schu­len. Rese­arch Asso­ciate / PhD Stu­dent

(Sub­ject to per­so­nal qua­li­fi­ca­tion employees are remu­ne­ra­ted accord­ing to salary group E 13 TV-L)

The posi­tion is offe­red, sub­ject to resour­ces being avail­able, star­ting from 01.02.2020, which ent­ails 50% of the full­time wee­kly hours. The posi­tion is limi­ted for 3 years. The period of employ­ment is gover­ned by Fixed Term Rese­arch Con­tracts Act (Wis­sen­schafts­zeit­ver­trags­ge­setz-WissZeitVG). The posi­tion aims at obtai­ning fur­ther aca­de­mic qua­li­fi­ca­tion (e.g. PhD).

Work­ing field:

rese­arch on the phy­si­cal and che­mi­cal pro­per­ties of two-dimen­sio­nal porous mate­ri­als; sci­en­ti­fic rese­arch, lite­ra­ture rese­arch, ana­ly­sis and inter­pre­ta­tion of data, pre­sen­ta­tion and publi­ca­tion of rese­arch results; active par­ti­ci­pa­tion in the sci­en­ti­fic group activi­ties, atten­dance at work­shops and con­fe­ren­ces; tea­ching (com­pu­ter labo­ra­tory, semi­nars) during semes­ters accord­ing to DAVOHS.

Require­ments:

uni­versity degree in chem­istry, phys­ics or mater­i­als sci­ence (M.Sc.)
