You will research in a national innovation project on the subject of circular economy. In this way you make an active contribution to improving sustainability in the furniture and equipment industry. You will develop a platform that defines business and processing processes together with the necessary data and IT connections. With the help of this platform, the product life of furniture and equipment will be extended by enabling innovative business models within the framework of an efficient circular economy. In doing so, you cooperate closely with renowned partners from science and practice.
At the TU Berlin, you are integrated into the interdisciplinary team of the Industrial Information Technology department, which has a strong focus on sustainable product development.
There is also an opportunity for doctoral studies.
successfully completed university degree (diplom, master or equivalent) in the fields of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology in mechanical engineering or similar
Knowledge in the field of product development and design
Independent, systematic and structured working methods
Interest in the fields of sustainability, product data management, innovative business models and circular economy
Very good knowledge of German (business fluent)
Experience in research, innovation or product development projects is desirable (but not mandatory)
good Englisch language skills are desired
