The goal of the new position is to perform scientific research work in the area of Full Duplex Communication within the scope of a DFG project. This includes the following tasks, but it is not limited to:
Study the realization of full-duplex duplexing scheme in the millimeter-wave frequency range
Develop RF-based and digital self-interference techniques and of self-interference-cancellation algorithms
Investigation on a full-duplex communication link capacity
Preparation and presentation of scientific publications and active contributions to the research community
The work should be carried out by means of theoretical and mathematical as well as experimental methods. The position includes the option to prepare a PhD thesis.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study
A solid theoretical underpinning knowledge in digital communication systems and multi-rate digital signal processing
Solid programming skills in scientific programming languages such as MATLAB® or/and Python
Basic experience in RF and microwave engineering
Hands-on experience of using RF measurement equipment including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers is preferable
A team player able to work with little guidance who has a solution-oriented attitude
Fluent in English, at least basic knowledge in German
