Work­ing field:

  • work­ing in research and teach­ing at the Chair Meth­ods for Product Devel­op­ment and Mechat­ron­ics (MPM)
  • teach­ing espe­cially in Advanced Engin­eer­ing Design, Sys­tem­atic Product Devel­op­ment, Elec­tric Vehicles Tech­no­lo­gies and Applic­a­tions
  • research in the field of meth­ods for product devel­op­ment and mechat­ronic sys­tems with focus on elec­tro­mobil­ity
  • coordin­a­tion of the MPM work­ing group Elec­tric Trans­port Solu­tions
  • acquis­i­tion of third party fun­ded pro­jects in the research fields elec­tro­mobil­ity and meth­ods for product devel­op­ment
  • man­age­ment of third party fun­ded pro­jects, par­tic­u­larly with Chinese part­ners


  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree in Engin­eer­ing (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) and proven skills in aca­demic research
  • Doc­tor­ate in the field of mechat­ronic sys­tems with focus on product devel­op­ment for elec­tro­mobil­ity

  • Required abil­it­ies:
- teach­ing exper­i­ence as research asso­ci­ate in advanced engin­eer­ing design, sys­tem­atic product devel­op­ment and elec­tro­mobil­ity
- proven abil­ity to work in a team
- prac­tical exper­i­ence in plan­ning, budget­ing and doc­u­ment­a­tion of extens­ive research pro­jects
- exper­i­ence in elab­or­a­tion of sci­entific pub­lic­a­tions
- very good know­ledge of Ger­man and Eng­lish
  • Prefer­able abil­it­ies
- first exper­i­ence with plan­ning and devel­op­ment of innov­at­ive elec­tric bus sys­tems
- exper­i­ence in cooper­a­tion with Chinese uni­versit­ies and indus­trial com­pan­ies
