Work­ing field:

Design work and design sup­port for the devel­op­ment of InP-based photonic integ­rated cir­cuits (PIC) and hybrid integ­ra­tion within a DFG fin­anced research and devel­op­ment pro­ject; dis­sem­in­a­tion tasks; rep­res­ent­a­tion of the sub pro­ject within pro­ject con­sor­tium; PhD thesis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible.


Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in phys­ics or math­em­at­ics; expert in pro­gram­ming mask lay­outs with LEdit; design exper­i­ence of PIC-com­pon­ents with Fim­m­wave, Beamprop and Full­wave; exper­i­enced in the atom­iz­a­tion of meas­ure­ment setups; good Eng­lish lan­guage skills are desired.
