Research Assistant - with focus on teaching - 0.5 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen
development and implementation of courses on economic issues within teacher training for work studies („Arbeitslehre“; B.Sc. and M.Ed.; especially consumer education and economics/business administration for teachers), with a special focus on project and work-shop oriented teaching
supervision of bachelor and master theses
contributions to co-ordination and development of study programs (curricula, module development, digitalization)
participation in teaching related research
administrative collaboration at the department
the extent of the teaching obligation correlates to the standard teaching obligation (full teaching duties) for research assistants with a focus on teaching according to the German Teaching Assignment Directive (Lehrverpflichtungsverordnung (LVVO)), on a work load pro-rata basis, if applicable
successfully completed university degree on master level (Master, Diplom or äquivalent) with a focus on economic sciences (economics or business administration), social sciences or within teacher education with a strong economic focus (e.g. work studies/”Arbeitslehre”)
essential are also language skills which allow teaching in German
desirable are experiences in independent teaching in the area of economic education, preferably within teacher education, ideally for work studies/“Arbeitslehre“
good knowledge of the project and work-shop oriented „Arbeitslehre“ studying program
experiences with study and examination regulations and module catalogues
IT knowledge for digitalizing teaching and examination
experiences with web based teaching and learning; research experience and interest with regards to the field of teaching
high autonomy, openness and capacity for teamwork
