Research Assist­ant - with focus on teach­ing - 0.5 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Work­ing field:

  • devel­op­ment and imple­ment­a­tion of courses on eco­nomic issues within teacher train­ing for work stud­ies („Arbeitslehre“; B.Sc. and M.Ed.; espe­cially con­sumer edu­ca­tion and eco­nom­ics/busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion for teach­ers), with a spe­cial focus on pro­ject and work-shop ori­ented teach­ing
  • super­vi­sion of bach­elor and mas­ter theses
  • con­tri­bu­tions to co-ordin­a­tion and devel­op­ment of study pro­grams (cur­ricula, mod­ule devel­op­ment, digit­al­iz­a­tion)
  • par­ti­cip­a­tion in teach­ing related research
  • admin­is­trat­ive col­lab­or­a­tion at the depart­ment
  • the extent of the teach­ing oblig­a­tion cor­rel­ates to the stand­ard teach­ing oblig­a­tion (full teach­ing duties) for research assist­ants with a focus on teach­ing accord­ing to the Ger­man Teach­ing Assign­ment Dir­ect­ive (Lehrver­p­f­lich­tungs­ver­or­d­nung (LVVO)), on a work load pro-rata basis, if applic­able

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree on mas­ter level (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or äqui­val­ent) with a focus on eco­nomic sci­ences (eco­nom­ics or busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion), social sci­ences or within teacher edu­ca­tion with a strong eco­nomic focus (e.g. work stud­ies/”Arbeitslehre”)
  • essen­tial are also lan­guage skills which allow teach­ing in Ger­man
  • desir­able are exper­i­ences in inde­pend­ent teach­ing in the area of eco­nomic edu­ca­tion, prefer­ably within teacher edu­ca­tion, ideally for work stud­ies/“Arbeitslehre“
  • good know­ledge of the pro­ject and work-shop ori­ented „Arbeitslehre“ study­ing pro­gram
  • exper­i­ences with study and exam­in­a­tion reg­u­la­tions and mod­ule cata­logues
  • IT know­ledge for digit­al­iz­ing teach­ing and exam­in­a­tion
  • exper­i­ences with web based teach­ing and learn­ing; research exper­i­ence and interest with regards to the field of teach­ing
  • high autonomy, open­ness and capa­city for team­work
