The Saxon international internship Program (SiiP) supports students from Saxony. Internships are offered by:

• ASYS Automatic Systems GmbH & Co.KG
  Tasks and Responsibilities:
  Interns will engage in structured training and hands-on project work to develop skills in software programming, controller programming, and robot automation
  Training & Skill Development Interns will participate in structured training courses in the following areas:
  a. Software Programming → GUI design, version control, object-oriented programming, and multithreading
  b. Controller Programming → PLC programming and automation logic
  c. Robot Programming → Application programming, tool setup, and real-world robotics tasks
  Applicant Profile:
  Completion of at least two semesters (undergraduate) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field
  Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (second year or higher) or enrolled in a Master’s/Graduate program
  Adequate English verbal and written communication skills
  Programming skills in C/C++ or any other programming language is preferred but not mandatory
  .

• Siemens Ltd. Taiwan
  Tasks and Responsibilities:
  Development of Interface of the Spare Part Management App and the external Warehouse
  Registration of the Spare Parts in external Warehouse
  Registration of missing Spare Parts in the Project Offices
  Further Improvements of the Spare Part Management App
  Applicant Profile:
  Affinity to software development required
  Background in engineering (electrical/mechanical) or mathematics/computer science helpful
  Background in programming (e.g. Microsoft 365, Python or Java) is a big plus
  Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (second year or higher) or enrolled in a Master’s/Graduate program
  Proficiency in English is required; German or Chinese language skills are beneficial but not mandatory
  Physical fitness mandatory, as outdoor engineering activity during summer may happen occasionally
  .

• Merck Group Taiwan
  Tasks and Responsibilities:
  Support customer requested quality projects with customer quality engineer
  Applicant Profile:
  Master/Graduate studies
  Chemical or materials engineering with a focus on semiconductor materials
  Fluent English
  JMP, Tableau, Palantir Foundry
  Experience within the semiconductor industry
  .

• Infineon Technologies Taiwan
  Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in collecting and researching industry, policy, and market data for strategy and M&A projects
2. Meeting arrangement, management team agenda, general support
   Alignment with management team and other support functions
   Preparation of contents – template / framework / agenda / internal memos / action items
   Providing project / program presentation materials
   Applicant Profile:
   Major in Business / EE / CS (Master degree preferred)
   Bachelor/Undergraduate Studies (3rd year and above)
   Excellent English skills including reading, writing and speaking
   Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
   Great Interpersonal and communication skills

• TRUMPF Taiwan.
  Tasks and Responsibilities:
  Project work and support in the development of international training measures for internal (TRUMPF engineers) and external (ASML) service EUV technicians/engineers
  Facilitate coordination between Headquarter Training Center and Taiwan Training Center
  Setup and support for EUV lasers for course implementation
  Support development of training courses and training models
  Support in coordinating team building activities as well as training activities
  Applicant Profile:
  Electric Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or relevant course of study
  Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (second year or higher) or enrolled in a Master’s/Graduate program
  Fluency in English, as communication and documentation are in English; Mandarin as a plus
  Microsoft Office
  Interested in practical experience in working with lasers, machine manufacturing, or electronic components
  Structured work, openness to international cooperation, and a high degree of organizational talent
